The European Commission has wrote a letter to the German government ... expressing its serious concerns about the proposal of the German government for a so called paragraph 9 a of the German Telcommunications law because in the view of the Commission it would priviledge the existing telecom in the German market and would run counter to European Community law as it stands since 2002.

The German goverment wants to regulate where there is nothing to regulate. It is a true case of over-regulation and this in a country which always says that over-regulation comes from Brussels.
Sie hat wohl in der Sache Recht und es ist gut, dass die Kommissarin hier eingreift, aber das ist doch sehr polemisch. Ich frage mich mit welchem Recht unsere EU-Kommissarin unser Land öffentlich verunglimpft, wenn sie sich gegen die Politik unserer Regierung wendet oder vielmehr einen bestimmten Gesetzgebungsfall. Und nichts ist fremder für mich als anzunehmen, dass mein Land eine Meinung habe. Eine Meinung können immer nur Regierungen oder Bürger haben. Mein Land denkt und sagt dagegen nichts.
